On average the tanks last 150k.before pump burns out or throws low pressure faults. There was a software patch that was installed to help tank last longer but it was no good and is no longer used on the adblue pump ecu. So it's either a new tank or an adblue delete.

The Citroën C4 Cactus was originally crash tested by Euro NCAP back in 2014 and awarded a five-star rating. Eventually, the pump would fail, resulting in the errors you saw on the dashboard. PSA fixed the issue by using an AdBlue cap fitted with a small pressure release valve. I'm particularly interested in any relating to the adblue tank cap. I have the count down on my display despite topping up the adblue it hasn't gone. I think citroen may have left me with a compromised adblue tank cap, even though the car has been with them for services and work every year I've had it, 5 and half years.
The Adblue counter does not need resetting as it should go awaywhen the tank is topped up. I don't know whether it is actually possible to reset the conter any other way. The Adble fault does have at least 2 possible causes. One is a faulty sensor, which usually costs £400 to £500 to fix. If the tank needs replacing it will cost in excess of
