It may just be from editing, but things sure give the impression of being scripted when every single challenge that uses a point system to decide the winner, season after season, has a tie near the end that has to be decided by what amounts to sudden death. It's so obvious that it's going to happen each and every time, and early on it wasn't Published on May 15, 2023 05:05PM EDT. Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty. Open: Monticello Hotel. Monticello Hotel is one of the oldest buildings in Longview Washington. Owned by an alcoholic with a DUI charged, the hotel's business suffered until Gordon Ramsay stepped in. Gordon was unimpressed with the hotel's high prices, the terrible state of the rooms, and awful food. He got down to business and even pulled out

Is it just me or does the new Kitchen Nightmares look really staged. Like it looks like theyre in a studio, I cant even take these people fr. Like i think these are real restaurants but they hire actors to be the owners running it. Specifically Ep 4 of this new season like those people are not real

Episode 2 they genuinely seemed like the type of people who sink a ton of money into a restaurant without knowing what they're doing, just kind of boring and overdone. Episode 3 was the closest to original U.S. Kitchen Nightmares, the owners seemed deluded and genuinely shocked that their food wasn't well received.. Below, the 13 best lines (these are all direct quotes): 1. On how real Kitchen Nightmares is: "The show was as fake as Gordon's hair, they set us up and edited us to look like lunatics because
Every episode is exactly the same, same plot points, same stubborn manager/owner, same dirty kitchen, same Gordon closing the restaurant same seeing of the light, same regression to old practices, same opening night disaster only to pull it out of the bag and save it at the last minute.

Back in 2018, Oceana Grill, one of the few featured restaurants that is still open, sued Ramsay and the producers of Kitchen Nightmares claiming defamation. The restaurant claimed that footage of Ramsay vomiting after opening a bin of shrimp and discovering dead mice in the restaurant were staged to create more drama in the show.

Kitchen Nightmares, like all reality TV, is heavily edited. Yes we see them blowing up but context could very well be omitted. It's well documented that there is intentional sabotage on the show, either in the form of the production team creating drama and slowing down the kitchen, or real life customers who want to be on TV and intentionally
The US Kitchen Nightmares is my guilty pleasure show. I don't like reality TV, but something about that show hits a weird sweet spot for me and is one of those shows that always is there when I need some quick entertainment. Like, last Friday night, I got drunk, watched two or three episodes, and just had a good ol' time. He contributed absolutely nothing to that kitchen, and the only real reason he stayed there was for his ego's sake. The show played it off as a relatively happy ending, but you could tell even Ramsay was disappointed that the guy didn't just hand the reigns over to people who were clearly better qualified. Y7D7U.
