It seem to be related to built-in Intel Graphic Card in my laptop. When I manually assigned Gothic to Nvidia card (luckily I have two of them) in Nvidia control panel, the glitch disappeared.
What are the "lore-friendly" factions which the Nameless Hero can join durig Gothic 1, 2 and 3? In my opinion, based on the amount of attention paid to them, the official artworks/promotional material and the overall plot progression in all three games, those would be: Gothic 1 - Old Camp. Gothic 2 - Paladins. Gothic 3 - Rebels.

I also realized that the search engine algorithm is burring the content below Gothic 3(G3), for reasons only guessed at (I think it doesn't recognize the two as separate games, and so brings up G3 info, rather than Forsaken gods). Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods - which patches? I've been enjoying a Gothic 3 run, fully patched (community 1.75, quest pack, content mod 3.1) and loving it, as usual. The graphics and armor/weapon improvements, plus rebalancing, are really worth a full playthrough. Now, I want to do a full Forsaken Gods run.
